Research Assistant -preclinical oncology

We are seeking a skilled Animal Research Assistant with oncology experience to support in‑life operations for preclinical oncology studies. This role is ideal for candidates with hands-on tumor-bearing model experience, strong technical proficiency, and an interest in contributing to regulated (GLP and non-GLP) studies within a fast-paced CRO environment.

In this position you'll will be working with animal models performing dosing, animal handling, tumor measurement, cell inoculation, aseptic technique and other research study tasks.

Experience and Qualifications

• 1+ years of experince working in CRO performing animal research oncology studiesrequired (In Vivo Oncology study experience)

• 1 + years of experience in animal tumor measurement and cell inoculation

• 1+ year of small animal handling experince required

• 1+ years of animal dosing experince required

• Mammalian cell culture experince preferred but not required.

Education

• Associate’s degree in veterinary technology or related program OR Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science, Biology, Wildlife Studies, or related life science field OR 2+ years of college in related Sciences field AND 1-2 years of hands on large or small animal care in laboratory/research or farming operation.
