Positions Summary
The Housekeeping Manager provides leadership and direction to the housekeeping team, fostering a culture of accountability and exceptional guest service. This role ensures that the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and attention to detail are consistently maintained. The Housekeeping Manager plays a key role in maintaining all public spaces and accommodations, including the Village, Green O, and Glamping. Through strong leadership, effective communication, and a commitment to operational excellence, the Housekeeping Manager helps create an environment where both guests and team members thrive.
Primary Functions and Responsibilities
Brand Standards:Ā Consistently uphold the core values and standards of Paws Up Montana, ensuring every interaction reflects the authenticity, warmth, and refined professionalism of Montana hospitality.
Quality Control:Ā Inspect guest accommodations and provide ongoing training to ensure compliance with resort standards.
Public Area Maintenance:Ā Monitor public areas throughout the day and evening to maintain the resort's cleanliness and presentation.
Team Leadership:Ā Lead daily pre-shift meetings to communicate priorities, operational updates, and departmental goals to the housekeeping team.
Interdepartmental Communication:Ā Maintain consistent communication with other departments to ensure accommodations are guest-ready and service expectations are met.
Operational Support:Ā Perform housekeeper duties as needed, particularly during periods of low occupancy or reduced staffing.
Schedule Flexibility:Ā Maintain a flexible work schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and other hours as required by the seasonal nature of the hospitality industry.
Guest Service:Ā Provide exceptional guest service by responding promptly and professionally to guest requests while delivering personalized hospitality.
Compliance & Reporting:Ā Complete all assigned daily housekeeping checklists accurately and on time.
General Duties:Ā Support all housekeeping operations and perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Looking for Team Members with:
Proven leadership experience in a luxury hospitality or related service environment.
Knowledge of world-class hospitality standards and service excellence.
Demonstrate a strong sense of urgency, adaptability, and composure in a fast-paced environment.
Previous Housekeeping experience is required.
A valid driver's license with a minimum of two years of driving experience is required.
Physical Requirements
ā¢Ā Constant walking, standing, bending, crouching, and stair climbing throughout the shift.
⢠Must be able to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 45 lbs. frequently.
⢠Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by business needs.
