SUMMARY:
The SBA Relationship Manager combines proactive business development with disciplined credit risk management and is dedicated to identifying, structuring, and executing SBA lending solutions for potential and existing customers. Â

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Originate SBA 7(a) loans with annual volume targets in the $10M–15M+ range
- Build and maintain a pipeline through COI relationships, broker networks, and direct small business outreach
- Structure credit requests in compliance with SBA SOP and program eligibility requirements
- Manage borrower relationships from initial contact through closing and ongoing portfolio monitoring
- Partner with underwriters and closers to drive efficient loan execution
- Actively monitor portfolio performance and maintain proactive borrower relationships
- Ensure all originations meet SBA program requirements and internal credit standards
- Support special assets and workout situations as needed in collaboration with credit administration

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, or related field or equivalent in education and experience
- Prior SBA 7(a) origination experience
- Demonstrated ability to build and manage a referral pipeline

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Intermediate relationship building skills
- Intermediate customer service skills
- Intermediate negotiation skills
- Intermediate knowledge of SBA program mechanics, loan structuring, and SOP compliance
- Intermediate understanding of secondary market loan sales and guarantee premium execution
- Intermediate verbal and written communication skills
- Intermediate proficiency with loan origination systems
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Standing, walking, bending and stooping required
- Must be able to sit at a desk for long periods of time and use a computer
- Must be able to occasionally move or lift up to 10 pounds
- May be asked to work supplemental hours periodically
- Limited travel required occasionally during and after business hours

Salary Pay Range: $59,923.52 - $104,250.50 annuallyÂ
