Brown & Brown is seeking aĀ Commercial Lines Business Development RepresentativeĀ to join our growing team in Greensboro, NC!Ā 

  

The purpose of the Commercial Lines Business Development Representative is to provide prompt, efficient, and high-quality support within a high-volume insurance center. The focus of the role is to handle outbound and inbound phone calls to Quote and Bind new business policies in multiple states.Ā  The goal is to review the program’s features and benefits for a full understanding of coverage and exclusions.Ā 

  

How You Will Contribute:  

Ā 

  • Consultative Selling by educating customers on the program features, coverage forms, state requiredaffidavits, underwriting & claims processĀ 

  • Complete understanding of Coverage & Endorsement FormsĀ 

  • Meet/Exceed Monthly Metrics: New Business Premium & Bind Ratio goalsĀ 

  • Handle inbound phone calls inquiries for quotes/questions.Ā 

  • Other Duties as assigned.Ā 

Ā 

Skills & Experience to Be Successful:Ā 
Ā 

  • High school diplomaĀ 

  • 2+ years of customer service experience.Ā 

  • Proficient knowledge in Microsoft Windows environment, including but not limited to Word, Excel, Power Point, and Publisher.Ā 

  • Problem solving, critical thinking, excellent written and verbal communication, and other basic office skills.Ā
