About the Role:
Clean Air LLC in Greensboro, NC is looking for a skilled Crawlspace Encapsulation and Mold Technician to join our growing team. If you take pride in improving the health and safety of homes and enjoy hands-on work that makes a real difference, this is the opportunity for you!
Responsibilities:
- Install crawlspace encapsulation systems including vapor barriers, drainage matting, and moisture control solutions
- Perform mold inspection, remediation, and treatment in crawlspaces, basements, and other affected areas
- Assess and document moisture levels, mold growth, and structural concerns in crawlspace environments
- Operate dehumidifiers, air scrubbers, and other remediation equipment safely and effectively
- Communicate findings and project progress clearly with homeowners and team leads
- Follow all safety protocols including proper use of PPE and containment procedures
- Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles in clean, working condition
Requirements:
- Prior experience in crawlspace encapsulation, mold remediation, or a related field preferred
- Comfortable working in confined spaces, crawlspaces, and physically demanding environments
- Knowledge of moisture control, vapor barriers, and mold remediation best practices
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform strenuous physical labor
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Reliable, punctual, and a team-oriented attitude
