At MASS Tech LLC, we work on practical technology solutions for advanced manufacturing, AI, digital transformation, sustainability, and electrification. This internship is designed to give students real-world exposure to how a technology company works, how customer problems are solved, and how digital tools are built for businesses.
Students will support simple research, documentation, testing, data entry, content preparation, and project support activities under the guidance of the MASS Tech team.
Requirements
Essential Duties
- Learn about MASS Tech’s work in AI, manufacturing, digital tools, and sustainability.
- Support basic research on companies, industries, technologies, and customer needs.
- Help prepare simple documents, checklists, presentations, and project notes.
- Assist with testing simple business applications, websites, forms, or dashboards.
- Help organize project information, meeting notes, and task lists.
- Support marketing and communication activities when needed.
- Participate in team check-ins and follow instructions from the assigned supervisor.
- Maintain professionalism, punctuality, and respectful communication.
- Track internship hours for the Career Jumpstart / CTE Internship credit requirement.
- Other duties may be assigned based on student interest and business needs.
Student Qualifications
- Current high school student selected through the GCS Career Jumpstart Program.
- Interest in technology, business, manufacturing, AI, engineering, sustainability, or entrepreneurship.
- Willingness to learn and ask questions.
- Basic computer skills, including email, internet research, Google Docs, Microsoft Word, or PowerPoint.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Dependable, respectful, and able to complete assigned tasks on time.
- No prior work experience is required.
