ZIEHL-ABEGG is looking for a high energy and results-oriented --- Incoming Goods Inspector who can be a strong contributor to our heavily expanding company.


Incoming Goods Inspector

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Receive, stage and verify all inbound materials according to QSYS Inspection plans or company standards.
  • Inspect all received goods for accuracy, and quality based on defined specifications and ZA Inc standards using drawings and documented procedures. Includes proper documentation, visual damage, correct quantities, measurements, stock receipts and transfer of goods to inventory.
  • Track, document, and report quality defects/deficiencies to multi departmental personnel for traceability purposes.
  • Use of calipers, micrometers, and other measuring devices

·    Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe area

·    Exhibit team-oriented behavior conducive to productive work environment

·     Other duties as assigned by Quality Supervisor or Director


Job Requirements:


·        Excellent time management and organizational skills 

·        Detail oriented character in a fast-paced environment with excellent communication skills

·        Experience with implementation of quality standards preferred

·        Experience with inspecting product to include the use of measurement gauges

·        Technical writing / reporting experience preferred

·        Technical background and analytical skills preferred

·        6 Sigma / Lean and 5S preferred

·        Experience with ERP Software preferred

·        Forklift operation preferred
