What You'll Do: The Lead Crisis Care Professional provides therapeutic support to youth ages 11 to 17 in a youth crisis setting. Provides in-ratio leadership of the youth shelter Monday-Fridays. You will provide in-ratio Leadership on 2nd shift. Process crisis referrals and intakes. Serve as a resident advocate, providing referrals, facilitating individual and group sessions and case management. Plan and facilitate recreational/psycho-education groups, activities, and outings. Manage a monthly recreation/food budget and submit expenses weekly. Attend weekly team meetings. Participate in monthly on-call rotation. Lastly, this position is a key leadership role on the team. Requires a leader who is self-directed and comfortable with crisis management.QualificationsEducation and Experience: B.A. or B.S. in a related human services or related field or equivalent work experience. Six months experience in human services is preferred. Ability to read and interpret documents Valid North Carolina Driver’s License Minimum of 21 years of age.
