Job DetailsJob Location: GREENSBORO, NC 27406POSITION SUMMARY: The Warehouse Associate supports the daily operations of the textile manufacturing plant by ensuring accurate receipt, storage, and distribution of all goods. This position is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, organizing warehouse space efficiently, receiving raw materials and preparing materials for shipment. The Warehouse Associate must adhere to safety standards, follow company procedures, and work collaboratively with production, shipping, and receiving teams to ensure smooth plant operations. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: •   Sweep out trailer and inspect holes in walls or roof; reports any to supervisor. •   Removes rolls from conveyor to racks by style and width. •   Places “OK” sticker on roll if lab approved; if roll rejected, uses a red sticker. •   Loads roll on proper trailer for shipment. •   Properly packs all products (Woven & Nonwoven) by packing specifications. •   Lists roll numbers on proper load list with date when a row or rack is full. •   Pull shipping tickets and check them against the load list. •   Count tickets and rolls in row or rack, to verify. •   Places tickets for row or rack in proper dock slot. •   Places all holdouts together in a rack, same for reworks. •   When direct shipments are full or complete counts total number of rolls and records total on back of load list with date, time, trailer number and customer name. •   Turns tickets and load list into shipping office. •   Prepares all forms and load lists. •   Sweeps work area each shift and leave no rolls on floor. •   Obeys all safety regulations. •   Performs other duties as requested by supervisor. QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS: •   Operate mechanical equipment •   Operate a lift truck, fork truck •   Read a tape measure •   Locate fabric rolls •   Properly unload all trailers (Nonwoven & Woven) •   Operate scan gun •   Maintain a safe working environment •   Maintain a good attendance record •   Lift up to 35 pounds PHYSICAL/MENTAL/VISUAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT: •   On the concrete floor as needed for packing or machine operation, 2 to 8 hours per shift. •   Must have ability to bend, kneel, and reach. •   Must have good vision. •   20 to 50 lbs. occasionally, and/or up to 10 to 25 lbs. frequently, and up to 10 lbs. constantly. •   Exerting up to 20 to 50 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 to 25 lbs. of force frequently, and up to 10 lbs. of force constantly. •   Frequently work at a fast pace with unscheduled interruptions. •   Responsibilities may occasionally require adjusted work schedules and/or weekend hours to meet deadlines.
