About TRIO

TRIO Supply Chain Solutions handles the back-end of the enterprise IT lifecycle. Major companies retire thousands of servers, storage systems, and networking gear every year — we take that hardware in at our Winston-Salem facility, tear it down, and either resell the working components back into the supply chain or recycle what's at end-of-life. Real work, real volume.

About the Role

We're hiring warehouse technicians to break down server and electronics hardware. If you've worked with hand and power tools — whether on cars, appliances, machinery, or on a manufacturing line — and you like methodical, hands-on work, you'll do well here. No IT or server background required. We'll train you on the equipment. What we can't train is showing up on time, working safely, and paying attention to what you're doing.

What You'll Do

  • Tear down servers, storage arrays, and tape libraries using hand and power tools
  • Pull and sort components — drives, memory, processors, cables, boards — for resale or recycling
  • Label and scan parts into our inventory system as you work
  • Follow our teardown procedures and ESD safe-handling practices (we'll train you on these)
  • Manage cables and small parts through the teardown process
  • Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe
  • Help unload incoming shipments and stage finished material for outbound

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Comfortable using hand and power tools (screwdrivers, ratchets, drivers, drills) — from any background, whether automotive, construction, manufacturing, military, appliance repair, or hobby work
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for most of the workday, and bend/reach into equipment during teardown
  • Attention to detail and comfort with methodical, repetitive work
  • Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
  • Authorized to work in the United States

Preferred Qualifications (nice to have, not required)

  • Prior experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, automotive, military maintenance, or hands-on technical role
  • Familiarity with electronics, IT hardware, or ITAD
  • Experience with ESD-safe handling, asset labeling, or inventory tracking
  • Experience using an ERP or warehouse management system (Acctivate, NetSuite, SAP, etc.)
  • Forklift certification (a plus — we'll train if needed)
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance
  • Life insurance
  • 401(k) with company matching
  • Paid time off
  • Opportunities for growth and advancement
