Accounts Payable Clerk-Temporary Position

Scott Electric has a current opening at our Greensburg, PA branch for a Full-Time Accounts Payable Clerk, M-F 8:00 am-5:00 pm.  This is a temporary position lasting for 6 months.

Responsibilities:

• Process vendor invoices accurately and efficiently
• Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving documentation
• Collaborate with Purchasing and Warehouse departments to research and resolve discrepancies between purchase orders, receipts, and vendor invoices
• Reconcile vendors statements and resolve invoice discrepancies
• Maintain organized accounts payable files and documentation
• Communicate professionally with vendors regarding payment inquiries
• Support other accounting and administrative functions as needed
• Main confidentiality of financial information 

Requirements:

• 2 years of Account Payable or related accounting experience/education
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-pace d environment
