Full Time Permanency Specialist - Greensburg, PA

Adelphoi Village is looking for a qualified professional interested in working with family and youth as a full-time Permanency Specialist. You will engage and build relationships with youth in foster homes and residential settings to understand their situation and help them with their reunification and permanency goals. A flexible schedule that includes you scheduling your work when both youth and families are available, allowing for work at home opportunity and overall flexibility to accomplish your assigned work.

We seek someone who has a minimum of 3-5 years of experience working in the Child welfare field with youth and families and a four-year undergraduate degree in psychology, sociology, counseling, or other similarly related behavioral disciplines. The ability to demonstrate strong 1:1 communication skills, documentation to support the completed work and capability to organize and adhere to work schedule and to be seen as a reliable resource for the youth and family will be essential. Knowledge of the foster care system as well as trauma would be beneficial for this position.
