HSE (Health Safety Environment) Intern

This position is for the Summer of 2026 (mid/end of May - mid/end of August)

What You Will Do

• You will ensure that all requirements of Valeo Group are identified, established and implemented

• You will check that safety and security equipment are in compliance with requirements 

• You will carry out risk analysis and monitor regulatory survey

• You will help establish the site “Health, Safety, Security and Environment” operation procedures and oversee their application

• You will carry out inspections and internal audits, make recommendations and specify corresponding actions as well as the responsibility for implementing it

• You will assist in implementing and monitoring action relating to the handling of any non-compliance revealed by the inspections, internal audits and external audits, taking the necessary investments into account.

• Be aware of developments in the legislation.

• You will update and complete Safety Data sheets, plus ergonomic and PPE assessments

• You will review and update Safety and Environmental work instructions

What You Should Have

• You must be pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline

• You should have completed Sophomore level / 2nd year of undergraduate studies at an accredited college or university

• You should have the ability to work 40 hours per week from May - August

• You preferably have completed classes in equipment lockout/tagout, chemical safety, and OSHA/EPA
