The Restaurant Supervisor is responsible and accountable for administration, operation, and direct management of the restaurant.

 

Responsibilities

CLEAN: Must make the property shine and look impeccable while maintaining a neat CLEAN and crisp personal appearance.SAFE: Must make guests feel SAFE and comfortable through creating a worry free, carefree experience.FAST: Provide FAST and efficient service with accuracy. Specific Responsibilities and Duties

  • Develop and assist in a supervisory capacity with the business plan and budget for the restaurant.
  • Responsible for inventory control and ordering supplies, food and drink necessary to operate the restaurant.
  • Developing servers, host, cashiers and utility staff to include training, interviewing for new hires, assisting with performance management inclusive of disciplinary counseling and conducting performance evaluations.
  • Review staffing levels to maintain budgeted level of employment.
  • Delegate authority and assign duties as necessary.
  • Review departmental status with Manager.
  • Develop, implement and supervise programs and processes to reduce and control loss time injuries.
  • Meet with departmental directors and managers as necessary.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Ability to analyze and interpret operation results.
  • Ability to solve complex problems.
  • Ability to perform assigned duties under pressures.
  • Knowledge of sanitation laws and health regulations and applicable OSHA regulation.
  • A variety of task and deadlines requires irregular work schedule.
  • Ability to perform assigned duties in an interruptive environment.
  • Accuracy in completing assigned duties in a timely manner.

 

Educational Requirements

  • Three (3) years’ experience in restaurant supervision and/or management, purchasing and inventory control.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license as determined by the State Gaming Control Board for the position.

Physical Requirements

 

  • Ability to work long hours.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of times without sitting or leaning.
  • Ability to climb stairs multiple times daily.
  • Ability to handle multi-tasking-heavy work-exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and up to 30 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
  • Ability to climb, bend, stretch, twist or reach with your body and arms.
  • Ability to work under variable temperatures and noise levels.
