Operator / Deburr Technician

Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM
Reports To: Production Manager

Job Summary

The Operator / Deburr Technician is responsible for operating production equipment, deburring machined components, and performing visual quality inspections. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, able to follow instructions, and willing to learn new tasks to support the production team.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor assigned production machines according to established procedures.
  • Perform deburring of machined parts using handheld pencil grinders, including work under a microscope.
  • Visually inspect parts for burrs, tooling marks, defects, and other quality issues.
  • Maintain production quantities and quality standards established by the Production Manager.
  • Read and follow work instructions, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Report defects, heavy burring, tooling marks, equipment issues, or other concerns to the Production Manager.
  • Perform basic machine adjustments, tool changes, and routine cleaning as needed.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area throughout the shop.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and wear required PPE.
  • Work effectively with team members and be willing to learn and perform additional tasks as needed.

Qualifications

  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Manufacturing, machine operation, deburring, or inspection experience is preferred but not required.
  • Aerospace or CNC experience is a plus.
