Job Summary 

As a Mechanical Assembler with PPG Quality, you’ll be hands-on in creating essential respiratory safety products. From ventilation blowers to ambient air pumps and breathing air panels, you’ll transform components into life-saving equipment that supports workers across industries.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble ventilation blowers, ambient air pumps, air filtration panels, supplied air respirators, and other respiratory products from parts and sub-assemblies
  • Test products to ensure performance and compliance with specifications
  • Package finished goods for shipment
  • Monitor inventory shortages and report to supervisor
  • Maintain a safe, organized workspace and handle equipment responsibly
  • Support team needs with flexibility, including overtime
  • Perform other duties as assigned


Job Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Ability to follow detailed drawings, written instructions, and verbal guidance
  • Skilled with hand tools (manual, pneumatic, and electrical), calibration devices, and air gauges
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Solid math skills with whole numbers
  • Ability to lift 40lbs unassisted - consistently
