The Associate Material Planner supports the execution of material planning activities to help ensure continuity of supply, efficient inventory management, and alignment with production needs. This role is responsible for running daily reports, supporting MDI report-outs including data analysis, coordinating with suppliers on inbound shipments, following global inventory planning processes, and contributing to problem-solving and continuous improvement efforts.

Key Responsibilities

·       Support daily material planning operations to ensure timely availability of materials

·       Run, review, and maintain daily reports related to material availability, inventory, and planning performance

·       Monitor inventory levels, replenishment signals, and planning parameters to support material availability

·       Support MDI report-out activities by gathering, organizing, and analyzing relevant data

·       Coordinate with suppliers regarding inbound shipments to help ensure on-time delivery

·       Support resolution of invoices, receipts, shipments, or supplier delivery discrepancies as needed

·       Follow established global inventory planning processes, procedures, and standards

·       Identify material shortages, delivery risks, or planning issues and escalate as appropriate

·       Assist in problem-solving efforts to address supply chain and inventory-related challenges

·       Analyze planning and inventory data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement

·       Support cycle count, inventory reconciliation, or materials accuracy activities

·       Collaborate with cross-functional teams including procurement, operations, logistics, and suppliers

·       Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance planning accuracy, material flow, and inventory performance

·       Maintain accurate records, reports, and planning documentation 

Skills and Qualifications required

·       High school diploma  

·       Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

·       Ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights

·       Effective written and verbal communication and coordination skills

·       Strong attention to detail and organizational ability

·       Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

·       Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other standard business systems

·       Ability to work collaboratively across functions and with external suppliers

·       Prior experience with Oracle preferred but not required  

·       Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Work Environment / Physical Requirements 

·       This role typically works in a fast-paced business or manufacturing support environment and requires frequent collaboration with internal teams and external suppliers.

·       Must always follow company policies documented in Company handbook

·       Ability to stand, sit for 8 - 10 hours Daily 

·       Ability to move freely and have sufficient reflexes to perform the same tasks repeatedly. 

·       Ability to lift 40+Lbs repeatably through the shift 

·       Must have flexibility with work hours to support the business needs
