Compensation
- $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
- Typical pay around $28.00 per hour based on experience
- Overtime after 40 hours
- Monthly Safety Bonus averaging $300-$400 per month
Primary Local Routes
This position consists primarily of local and regional hauling with established routes, including:
- Greenville, TX to Midlothian, TX
- Greenville, TX to Jewett, TX
- Greenville, TX to Ashdown, AR
Drivers are home daily.
What You'll Be Hauling
We support a large-scale recycling and manufacturing operation that processes approximately:
- 150 tons of rubber daily
- 150 tons of wire daily
Materials are sorted, shredded, separated, and transported to customers and processing locations.
Equipment
Our drivers operate:
- Newer-model Mack Pinnacle Day Cabs
- Automatic and Manual Transmission Trucks
- Hydraulic PTO Wet Kit Systems
- Walking Floor Trailers
Walking Floor trailer experience is highly preferred.
What We're Looking For
This is not an entry-level position. We need experienced, dependable professionals with a strong commitment to safety and customer service.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum 2 years of recent tractor-trailer experience
- Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record
- Ability to pass DOT requirements
- Strong work ethic and attendance record
- Commitment to safety and compliance
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Preferred Qualifications
- Walking Floor trailer experience
- End Dump experience
- Hydraulic PTO Wet Kit experience
- 10+ years of driving experience
- Manufacturing, recycling, or bulk material hauling experience
Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles in accordance with DOT regulations
- Deliver materials to customers and pick up raw materials from vendors
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate logs and required shipping documentation
- Perform light preventative maintenance and fueling
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and operations teams
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
