Title: Director of Channels

Reports to President

Job Summary


The Director of Channels is responsible for developing, managing, and growing strategic relationships with the company’s channel partners. This role serves as the primary liaison and brand ambassador for channel partners, ensuring strong partnerships that support mutual success and long-term growth. The Director acts as a trusted advisor and advocate for channel partners while coordinating internal resources and resolving issues that may arise with both existing and prospective partners.

As a member of the Administrative Team, the Director of Channels works closely with the Vice President of Sales and other organizational leaders to execute the company’s vision, support strategic initiatives, and advance the mission and goals of the organization. This position plays a critical role in driving channel performance, enhancing partner engagement, and expanding market opportunities through effective collaboration and relationship management. 

The position reports directly to the President and has one direct report, the channel sales coordinator that manages the TDSynnex relationship. 


Job Responsibilities

  • Identify, recruit, and develop new channel partners while strengthening relationships with existing partners to create a high-performing network of strategic alliances.
  • Establish and maintain productive, professional relationships with business owners, executives, managers, and other key stakeholders within assigned partner organizations.
  • Define, communicate, and monitor performance expectations, objectives, and requirements for channel partners.
  • Coordinate internal company resources and personnel to support partner success and achieve established performance goals.
  • Lead collaborative business planning efforts with channel partners to develop mutual growth strategies, financial targets, and key performance milestones.
  • Regularly assess, clarify, and validate partner needs to ensure alignment with business objectives and market opportunities.
  • Facilitate and support sales activities through both direct company efforts and channel partner relationships to drive revenue growth.
  • Monitor partner performance and recommend strategies to improve engagement, effectiveness, and overall business results.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and advocate for channel partners while effectively managing and resolving conflicts or challenges that may arise.
  • Travel as required, with an expectation of up to 50% travel to support partner development, relationship management, and business growth initiatives.

Requirements


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Four-year college degree from an accredited institution (preferred)
  • Demonstrated technical proficiency
  • Business tools; ie. computing systems
  • Business systems; ie. customer relationship management (CRM), partner relationship

  • Equipment Utilized: computer, network, software, mobile phone
  • Physical Activities: walking, typing, talking, hearing.
  • Visual Acuity: heavy acuity is required in this position.
  • Physical Demands: sedentary work exerting up to 25 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible
  • amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects; driving;
  • participation in a variety of activities in both an indoor and outdoor setting.
  • WORK CONDITIONS
  • Up to 50% travel to meetings and activities throughout the region
