PM Line Cook

Westin Poinsett Greenville

Schedule: MUST HAVE OPEN AVAILABILITY
3:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. (must be able to work this shift)

Position Summary:
The PM Line Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking menu items according to established recipes, quality standards, and food safety guidelines. This role supports dinner service and late-evening operations, working closely with the culinary team to deliver consistent, high-quality food in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook menu items following recipes, portion controls, and presentation standards

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned kitchen stations

  • Ensure all food safety and sanitation standards are followed at all times

  • Properly store food items and rotate inventory using FIFO standards

  • Communicate effectively with chefs and kitchen team members

  • Assist with prep work, plating, and breakdown of kitchen stations

  • Adhere to all hotel policies, procedures, and safety guidelines

Qualifications:

  • Must be able to work the PM shift (3:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.)

  • ServSafe Certified or Food Handler Certified (required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire)

  • Previous line cook or kitchen experience preferred

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
