In the Utility Role, you will assist an extrusion operator in the entire process of producing plastic sheet product to customer specifications per established production and quality standards.

  • Ability to learn, understand, and follow all operational and quality standards.
  • Ability to correctly identify all raw materials in both the work-in process and the pre-staged areas.
  • Maintain accurate identification of all generated materials and containers.
  • Maintain adequate levels of support materials, such as but not limited to, skids, polyfilm, cores, etc.
  • Correctly and accurately tag and package finished product.
  • Mix raw materials as specified on the production orders.
  • Maintain cleanliness of work area to ensure a safe, non-contaminated workplace.
  • Able to adjust to continued change and handle additional tasks as assigned.
  • Ability to regularly stand; walk, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl use hands, fingers, reach with arms and to sit, climb or balance.
  • Ability to regularly lift and or move 10 to 20 pounds, not exceeding 50 pounds and tip rolls up to 250 pounds.
  • Able to work 7PM to 7AM Monday night - Thursday night and weekends or holidays as needed. 

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in Manufacturing Environments
  • Excellent Attendance
  • Excellent Safety Record,
  • Comfortable with required PPE including hearing protection, safety glasses, hair nets, and safety shoes.
