About the role
Receives sawdust.
Operates the various process equipment including but not limited to, sawdust dump, sawdust dryer, evaporator, & furnaces in a safe, efficient manner to produce liquid smoke to meet customer commitments, company objectives and quality standards.
Key responsibilities
Essential duties and responsibilities
Maintain a neat, clean, and organized work areas.
Assists in the maintenance of processing equipment.
Maintains current & accurate production logs.
Ensures compliance with air permit special requirements pertaining to cyclones & flares
Complies with all corporate safety and environmental regulations and procedures.
Complies with all HACCP Food Safety procedures, GMP’S, and guidelines.
Performs other duties as assigned.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Physical Requirements
• Ability kneel, bend, squat, stoop, carry, reach, stand, grip, push, pull, arm extensions and perform elevated work.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Ability to work overtime and use a flexible schedule.
• PFT & respirator fit test required
• Working at heights / climbing ladders
Work Environment
Ability to work in hot, cold or wet environments.
Education
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred but not required.
The pay rate for this position is $20 per hour.
