Perioperative Dept - OR RN - Full Time - 1st Shift

This part time position is for 8 hour shifts, 40 hours per week. Schedule is dictated by the surgery schedule. While this is primary to day shift, call rotation is a required and expected piece of the position. The applicant must be within 45 minutes of the facility at all times while on call. The position is required to cross train to Perioperative Services and will be scheduled based on the needs of the department. The position reports to the Director of Surgical Services. 

Qualifications

• Currently licensed to practice in the State of Ohio, as a Registered Nurse
• Associates Degree in Nursing, BSN preferred
• Current BLS certification required
• Current ACLS certification required 
• Minimum 1 year OR experience required
• Minimum of 1 year OR Circulator experience required
• 1 year Critical Care experience preferred
• PICC line placement experience preferred
• Completed PERIOP 101 preferred, but not required
• CNOR Certification preferred, but not required
• Medical Surgical experience in an acute care facility preferred
• On-Call, 45-minute response time required

• Ability to complete assigned course work as deemed necessary
• Ability to complete or test out of a basic Electrocardiogram Course
