Production Associate
Location: Greenville, SC
Pay: $18.00-$24.00 per hour (based on experience/mechanical aptitude)
Sawyer Staffing is hiring a Production Associate for a growing manufacturing company in Greenville, SC. We are looking for dependable individuals with mechanical aptitude who enjoy hands-on work in a fast-paced production environment.
Schedule
- Monday-Friday
- Initial hours: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
- Opportunity to transition to four 10-hour shifts in the future
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor a production processing line
- Ensure chemicals are maintained at proper levels
- Monitor fabric throughout the production process to prevent errors
- Perform quality checks and remain attentive while the line is running
- Assist with cleaning and maintaining a safe, organized work area
- Complete general production and housekeeping tasks during downtime
- Work as part of a two-person team to keep production running efficiently
Qualifications
- Must pass background check & drug test
- Have a valid DL
- Mechanical aptitude required
- Ability to read and write
- Forklift experience preferred
- Textile manufacturing or textile finishing experience is a plus, but not required
- Must be detail-oriented and able to stay focused during repetitive tasks
- Comfortable working in a hot manufacturing environment
- Steel-toe boots required
- Reliable transportation
- Basic hand tools are a plus
