Quality Supervisor Job Description
Location: Greenville, MI 聽Department: Quality
Reports to: Quality Manager 聽聽聽聽聽Date: May 2025

Responsibilities of this position include: to provide Quality Leadership, direction and hands-on involvement in the implementation of Quality System. 聽Provide shift oversight and leadership to Quality Assurance Staff involved in the production process.聽
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
路 Maintain ISO/TS 16949 quality management system (QMS) requirements for production, and when relevant automotive-related products
路 Departmental daily safety spot checks
路 Ensure employees receive training and understand all safety requirements and procedures related to their work. Enforces personal protective equipment requirements
路 Drive the development of quality related policy deployment objectives.
路 Monitor and analyze effectiveness of quality system聽
路 Analyze internal quality defect data to define and resolve root causes聽
路 Manage quality processes and functions including but not limited to Nonconforming Material, CAPA, Incoming, Metrology, Calibration, Product Hold, Product Release and Temporary Deviations.聽
路 Drives data analysis of quality performance to identify high priority issues relating to safety, complaints and systemic customer satisfaction.
路 Supervise and mentor quality assurance department employees, which may include interviewing, training, directing, disciplining, and reviewing employees
路 Investigate quality problems to develop corrective actions.聽
路 Responsible for leading plant process inspections.
Skills and Experience
路 Successful record of managing people and dealing with problems internal issues.
路 Leadership experience (People development, written and verbal communications skills, action/results oriented, impact and influence)
路 Ability to effectively communicate and present at all levels and across the organization is required.
路 Excellent skills in managing subordinates and strong interpersonal skills are required
路 Must be able to handle multiple tasks/projects and manage priorities accordingly
路 Strong awareness of technical standards required in a regulated industry

Physical Work Conditions
路 Must be able to work in a hot environment
路 Must be able to lift and move aluminum wheels of varying weight
路 Must be able to stand and walk for up to 12 hours per day
路 Must be able to wear personal protective equipment when required
