Job Description

Fab Chemical and Waste Water Subject Matter Expert (SME) Lead is responsible for the design, integration, delivery and distribution of fab chemical and slurry waste collection and treatment systems supporting the base build of a semiconductor fabrication facility.

Candidates will have a deep knowledge of Fab chemical wastes, treatment technologies, water recovery technologies, vendor expertise, specific hazards each category of chemical or slurry poses (and the common mitigation strategies), and common industry chemical and slurry handling standards and practices.  This role provides technical leadership across engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure system performance meets stringent environmental, reliability, and safety requirements.

Key responsibilities include overseeing detailed design, validating process specifications, managing vendor interfaces, and supporting installation, commissioning, and startup activities.

Expertise in designing and delivering Chemical and Slurry Waste Collection systems, Chem and Slurry Waste Treatment systems, and Water Recovery Systems technologies for semiconductor projects is essential

Basic Job Requirements

• Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in engineering field of study and at least fiften (15) years of work-related experience

• Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors

• Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job

• Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines

• Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
