Job DetailsJob Location: Greenville - Greenville, SC 29607 POSITION SUMMARY This senior staff role assumes working with stakeholders within the Greenville office to provide direction for Architectural projects and supplemental Design support. Oversees successful Architectural scope delivery including leading Architects, Designers, Design Specialists, and others to achieve stated project objectives and outcomes. The Senior Staff Architect provides proactive leadership of the Design / Design-Build process from initial Business Development phase through project completion. Plays an integral role ensuring goals are achieved and all activities performed to support the strategy, vision, and core values of the firm. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES Serves as the Architectural interface, lead, and manage Architectural staff in Greenville office Delivering results primarily by influencing and leading others by optimizing performance and productivity Provide Architectural leadership for Design / Design-Build projects Review and approve rendered images/videos, construction document production (drawing and specifications) as well as marketing material for project pursuits Provide and deliver required deliverables for construction document milestones Improve development of drafting templates and libraries for Design workflows Experience in construction means and methods especially in the application of technology on a range of project size and complexity. Demonstrated abilities and deep experience in preconstruction, field management and construction processes Inform Director of Department performance and profitability on a timely basis Lead internal design efforts and ensure consistency with firm-wide design standards Must have credibility and drive; be a self-motivator that can get things done. Must be a good communicator, well spoken with the ability to express themselves in written form as well. Acts in a manner of integrity that demonstrates support for the company values and the employees, while maintaining constant focus on meeting/exceeding customer requirements and expectations. Exhibits commitment to quality by evaluating project-related processes and make necessary changes, using customer input to make improvements, and meeting/exceeding internal and external customer expectations Have multi-disciplinary fluency in architectural design, engineering, preconstruction processes and construction processes. Promote Relations Builds effective relationships with customers, design team, subcontractors, suppliers, and user groups that reflect and support company core values and meets or exceeds the customer’s expectations. Actively participates in industry, client, and community relations to enhance company image. Oversee the completion of any outstanding issues with Owner and Consultants through design completion.
