Stone Slinger Truck Driver / Operator – Greenville, SC

Description

We are currently seeking an experienced and dependable Stone Slinger Truck Driver/Operator to join our team in Greenville, SC. This position involves delivering and placing aggregate materials at residential, commercial, and construction job sites using a stone slinger truck.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate and drive a stone slinger truck to various job sites
• Deliver and accurately place materials including stone, gravel, sand, mulch, and soil
• Operate conveyor and slinger systems efficiently and safely
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on equipment
• Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of truck and equipment
• Communicate professionally with customers, contractors, and dispatch
• Follow all DOT regulations and company safety procedures
• Assist with loading/unloading and other job site duties as needed

Requirements

• Valid CDL Class A or B license
• Must be able to drive a manual transmission
• Clean driving record
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to safety

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous construction or aggregate delivery experience
• Knowledge of Greenville and surrounding areas
• Mechanical knowledge is a plus
