What You Will Do:

As the NUMAC (Nuclear Measurement Analysis and Control) Controls Engineering Manager, you will lead the team responsible for designing the reactor controls and protection system for a Nuclear Power Plant. This includes the design, maintenance, modification, and performance optimization of control systems that support rod control and information system, Neutron monitoring and protection, Leak Detection and Isolation system, and Process Radiation Monitoring.

The position requires strong technical discipline, configuration control adherence, and collaboration with operations, design, and engineering teams.聽

  • Providing technical and managerial leadership for the Nuclear controls NUMAC projects team. With direct management of the engineers on the team
  • Drive Nuclear safety-first culture
  • Document and track qualification of engineers and fitness for assigned tasks.
  • Ensure compliance to client鈥檚 Quality Management System
  • Own teams project performance, schedule, task assignments.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Act as the face of Quest Global to customers and stakeholders for matters related to the Value Stream; build trusting relationships based on performance and responsiveness

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Model and predict demand based on market and customer inputs

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Develop and implement capability and capacity plans within the value stream

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Employ daily management practices to monitor delivery; identify and address challenges

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Promote quality culture and systems that ensure consistent delivery excellence

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Manage team performance through goal-setting and appraisal processes

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Champion employee engagement, recognition and strong culture throughout the team

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Manage team communication rhythms, including all-hands meetings, information flow-down, and team connects

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Develop and mentor front-line managers and contribute to leadership pipeline

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Support special initiatives and continuous improvement projects to enhance performance, growth, innovation, best-practice implementation, and hygiene of the business unit

  • Own safety, quality, delivery, cost for team project delivery
  • Support and present at governance meetings with company and customer executives to ensure customer satisfaction and alignment

What You Will Bring:

  • Bachelor鈥檚 degree in engineering or higher with at least 15 years of relevant engineering experience in gas power controls
  • Proven leadership and technical capability
  • Experience driving performance and improvement in engineering technology
  • Demonstrated global mindset and ability to collaborate effectively across cultures
  • Ability to communicate and present effectively and clearly with management, peers, team members, and clients

Work Requirements: This role is preferred to be an onsite position in聽Greenville, SC. However, remote work can be considered at time of interview.聽

  • You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours.聽

Pay Range: $110,000 to $130,000 per year

Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan.

Travel Requirements: Due to the nature of the work, 30% travel is required.

Citizenship Requirement:鈥疍ue to the nature of the work, U.S. citizenship is required.
