We are seeking an experienced Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our hospital. This position is ideal for a credentialed technician who enjoys utilizing their technical skills, values teamwork, and takes pride in delivering outstanding patient care.

What You'll Do

• Partner with veterinarians to provide comprehensive patient care during appointments, surgery, and treatment
• Perform venipuncture, place intravenous catheters, collect laboratory samples, and run in-house diagnostics
• Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed by the veterinarian
• Monitor anesthesia and assist with surgical and dental procedures
• Obtain and interpret patient vital signs while closely monitoring hospitalized patients
• Maintain complete and accurate medical records
• Educate clients on treatment plans, medications, and at-home care instructions
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient treatment area while supporting the hospital team as needed

Schedule

• Four 10-hour shifts each week
• Every fourth Saturday
• Shared holiday responsibilities and occasional treatment weekend coverage

What We're Looking For

• Current Veterinary Technician license/registration/certification in South Carolina (LVT, RVT, or CVT)
• Previous experience working as a credentialed veterinary technician in a small animal practice
• Strong anesthesia monitoring and surgical assisting skills
• Experience with laboratory diagnostics, patient nursing, and medical calculations
• Excellent communication and client education skills
• A dependable, positive attitude and the ability to work well in a collaborative environment
• Flexibility to adapt in a fast-paced hospital while maintaining exceptional patient care
