About The Role:

The Linux System Administrator is responsible for day-to-day administration, maintenance, and support of Linux-based systems. This role focuses on system stability, patching, monitoring, and incident resolution while following established standards and procedures.


What You'll Do:

  • Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers (RHEL/Ubuntu/Rocky/CentOS), both physical and virtual.

  • Manage core services: SSH, DNS, DHCP, NTP, LDAP/SSSD, postfix, NFS/SMB, systemd, and cron management.

  • Apply patches and kernel updates; maintain package repos (yum/dnf/apt).

  • Monitor system health and performance (top, iostat, sar, vmstat, netstat; or via Prometheus/Zabbix).

  • Implement backup/restore routines (e.g., Veeam/Bacula/NetBackup); test recoveries.

  • Manage storage (LVM, mdadm RAID, multipath, iSCSI/FC) and filesystems (ext4/xfs/btrfs).

  • Harden hosts per baseline (CIS/STIG), firewall rules (iptables/nftables/firewalld), SELinux/AppArmor.

  • Write basic automation/scripts (Bash; optionally Python) for routine tasks.

  • Respond to incidents; perform root cause analysis; document runbooks and SOPs.

  • Support users/dev teams with environments, permissions, and troubleshooting.

What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).

  • 1-5 years administering Linux(Rocky/RHEL/Ubuntu) in production.

  • Certifications (nice-to-have): Red Hat RHCSA, CompTIA Linux+, LPIC-1.

  • Solid understanding of Linux OS fundamentals.

  • Experience with systemd, networking, storage, and filesystems.

  • Package management, log analysis (journalctl, syslog).

  • Storage and filesystem management; backup fundamentals.

  • Familiarity with monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, etc.)

  • Basic virtualization (VMware/KVM/Nutanix) and/or container basics (Docker).

  • Basic scripting skills (Bash); version control (Git).

  • Understanding of security best practices: SSH keys, PAM, auditing (auditd).

  • Ability to follow procedures and work under supervision.

Working Conditions:

Ce que vous ferez

  • Installer, configurer et maintenir des serveurs Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu/Rocky/CentOS), tant physiques que virtuels.

  • GĂ©rer les services essentiels : SSH, DNS, DHCP, NTP, LDAP/SSSD, Postfix, NFS/SMB, systemd et la gestion des tâches cron.

  • Appliquer les correctifs et mises Ă  jour du noyau; maintenir les dĂ©pĂ´ts de paquets (yum/dnf/apt).

  • Surveiller la santĂ© et la performance des systèmes (top, iostat, sar, vmstat, netstat; ou via Prometheus/Zabbix).

  • Mettre en Ĺ“uvre les routines de sauvegarde et de restauration (ex. : Veeam/Bacula/NetBackup) et effectuer des tests de rĂ©cupĂ©ration.

  • GĂ©rer le stockage (LVM, RAID mdadm, multipath, iSCSI/FC) et les systèmes de fichiers (ext4/xfs/btrfs).

  • Renforcer la sĂ©curitĂ© des hĂ´tes selon les normes (CIS/STIG), règles de pare-feu (iptables/nftables/firewalld), SELinux/AppArmor.

  • RĂ©diger des scripts et automatisations de base (Bash; Python en option) pour les tâches courantes.

  • RĂ©pondre aux incidents, effectuer des analyses de cause fondamentale et documenter les procĂ©dures (runbooks, SOP).

  • Soutenir les utilisateurs et les Ă©quipes de dĂ©veloppement pour les environnements, permissions et dĂ©pannage.

Ce que nous recherchons

  • BaccalaurĂ©at en informatique, TI ou domaine connexe (ou expĂ©rience Ă©quivalente).

  • 1 Ă  5 ans d’expĂ©rience en administration Linux (Rocky/RHEL/Ubuntu) en environnement de production.

  • Certifications (atout) : Red Hat RHCSA, CompTIA Linux+, LPIC-1.

  • Solide comprĂ©hension des bases du système d’exploitation Linux.

  • ExpĂ©rience avec systemd, le rĂ©seautage, le stockage et les systèmes de fichiers.
