JOB TITLE:              QA Lab Tech

 

REPORTS TO:         QA Lab Manager

 

PURPOSE:                Associate is responsible for performing required testing for each lot processed in the lab. This requires qualification on all corresponding lab equipment.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Knowledge of all general plant safety rules & safety absolutes.
  2. Willingness to learn multiple testing processes including but not limited to:
    1. Operating Clicker Press to Cut laboratory Test Samples
    2. Operating Washer/Dryers for Dimensional Stability Cycles
    3. Unload CI 5000 when needed
    4. Run electrostatic decay test
    5. Flammability testing when necessary
  3. Assist with other testing as needed when job is caught up

 

 

SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Computer Skills- Excel MES SAP MTS
  2. Understanding test results, analyze data, etc.
  3. Detail Oriented
  4. Basic Math skills. (Average, Decimal Places)

 

PROGRAMS/SYSTEMS:  

  1. Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
  2. Entering Data in Computer for Test Results (MTS)
  3. Generating Test Form to Begin Process
  4. Logging Headers from Inspection into Inventory Summary

  2. Push/Pull/Reach: Ability to push/pull cabinet drawers/samples cart                                        5% of day
