Measure & Service Technician
Position Overview
Joyce Windows, Sunrooms & Baths is hiring a Measure & Service Technician (W2) to support residential home improvement projects in the Asheville, NC and Greenville, SC markets. This is a hands-on, field-based role responsible for taking final measurements for windows, doors, bath, and exterior remodeling projects, confirming jobsite readiness, and completing minor service and punch list work as needed.
This position requires daily travel within the coverage area and is ideal for a detail-oriented, self-motivated individual with experience in the home improvement industry who enjoys working independently while delivering a professional, customer-focused experience.
Compensation
- W2 employee position with consistent, year-round work
- Pay commensurate with experience
- Monthly phone and vehicle allowance plus fuel reimbursement
- Overtime opportunities when available
- Steady workload with predictable scheduling
Schedule
- Monday through Friday
- Daytime hours based on appointment schedule
- Daily travel required within the Asheville, NC / Greenville, SC coverage area
- Occasional extended days depending on workload

What You’ll Do
- Complete final measurements for replacement windows, doors, bath, and exterior projects
- Verify jobsite conditions and confirm scope of work before ordering materials
- Provide accurate photos, notes, and material lists for ordering
- Perform minor service work and punch list items as needed
- Communicate clearly with customers, installers, and management
- Document jobsite details accurately in internal systems
- Travel daily to job sites throughout the coverage area
- Perform additional field tasks as assigned
You’ll Be a Good Fit If You Have
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the home improvement industry
- Experience with window, door, bath, or exterior project measurement or installation preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently in the field
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Reliable transportation and basic tools
- Willingness to travel daily within the assigned territory
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
