Job Summary
MOR PPM Inc. is looking for a maintenance tech in Aiken, SC. The Maintenance Tech will perform a variety of semiskilled trades for the maintenance support of the Bridgestone tire plant.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- A Maintenance Tech will perform as a skilled team member in the continuous improvement of maintenance, fabrication, welding, installation, and repair of tire manufacturing equipment and components.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience
- Welding Experience
- Industrial maintenance experience a plus
- Technical school training a plusÂ
- Familiarity with mobile powered equipment like aerial lifts, forklifts, cranes preferred
Physical Requirements/Job Site Requirements:
- Must be able to complete hiring paperwork electronically through DocuSign
- May be required to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds
- Must posses enough strength and stamina to perform the technical duties and essential functions as identified above
- Must be able to move in and around confined spaces and uneven areas
- Must have full range of motion consistent with age
- Must be able to climb and maintain balance ladders
- Must be able to adequately hear and respond to voice commands and alerts from other employees, alarms and other job-related noises
- Visual acuity, depth perception and color discrimination consistent with that required to work at heights and on uneven surfaces
- Safety/Steel toe shoes are required.
