Event Operations Team Lead

PhotoMules is hiring an Event Operations Team Lead to oversee weekend youth sports photography events throughout South Carolina and surrounding states. This role combines leadership, sales management, customer engagement, and event execution in a fast-paced outdoor environment. Location: Based in Greenville, SC (regional travel required)

Travel:

  • Friday–Sunday regional travel throughout South Carolina and neighboring states

  • Most travel conducted in company vehicles

  • Gas, lodging, & vehicle maintenance costs covered

    About the Role

    As the Event Operations & Sales Manager, you are the leader on-site. You'll oversee event staff, ensure smooth operations, maintain a high-energy customer experience, and help drive sales performance throughout the weekend. This is not a desk job. You'll be actively leading your team, engaging customers, and making key decisions throughout the event.

    What You'll Be Responsible For

    • Lead weekend event operations from setup through breakdown

    • Supervise and support a team of 2–6 event staff members

    • Coach employees on customer engagement and sales techniques

    • Monitor team performance and help drive event revenue goals

    • Interact directly with parents, athletes, and coaches

    • Resolve customer concerns and operational challenges as they arise

    • Coordinate event logistics, equipment, and workflow

    • Oversee photography stations, printing operations, and order fulfillment

    • Ensure a positive experience for customers and team members

    • Complete weekly planning and event preparation activities

    Requirements

    • Previous experience as a team lead, supervisor, manager, assistant manager, coach, educator, program leader, or similar leadership role

    • Ability to lead teams in fast-paced environments

    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

    • Solid technical aptitude

    • Weekend availability (Friday–Sunday)

    • Valid driver's license and clean driving record

    • Comfortable driving a company vehicle

    • Ability to work outdoors and remain active throughout the day

    • Willingness to travel regularly throughout the region
