  • The position is primarily at the Rehab Facility but may also require scheduling at the Hospital.
  • The salary for this position is competitive and commensurate with experience, which should be a minimum of two years in a similar role.


Position:

 

This position reports to the Director of Rehabilitation Services. Flexibility is key as some off-shift hours could be required. Although the position is primary to the Rehab Facility, the applicant may be scheduled at both the Hospital and Rehab Facility. 

 

Education:

  • A valid Ohio Occupational Therapy license
  • Graduate of an accredited program in Occupational Therapy
  • CHT certification preferred

 

Responsibility:

  • Evaluates patients and then develops and implements an effective Occupational Therapy program.
  • Review orders for Occupational Therapy.  Interview patients; evaluate patient’s physical condition and needs.
  • Custom splinting of the upper extremities
  • Develop a program of corrective exercise and treatment for assigned patients
  • Recommend modification or changes in the patient’s program based on own evaluation of progress and interpretation of significant findings.
  • Maintain department policies, procedures, objectives, and quality assurance program. 
  • Ensure safety, environmental control and infection control processes are maintained. 
  • Assist in care and maintenance of department equipment and supplies.
  • All other duties as assigned.
