Day Shift: Monday-Friday 8:00am -4:30pm

Position Summary:

Coordinates production activities and serves as liaison between cross-functional support groups and operations on production schedule. Ensures maximum efficiency of the production lines. Responsible for the effective execution the production schedule as well as rapidly and thoughtfully respond to unplanned events in production

Essential Functions: 

  • Collaborate with supply chain scheduler to prioritize operations to ensure maximum performance. Coordinate production workflow for multiple products. Work collaboratively with functional leadership to understand impacts of the plan and opportunities to improve vision and value

  • Participate in Supply & Demand meetings as part of the Supply Chain planning cycle

  • Maintain detailed knowledge of production needs, requirements, problems, build and schedule. Maintain awareness of production status in each area.

  • Partner with Project Management, Schedulers, Maintenance, and other functional areas to accomplish project and group targets.

  • Assist in resolving labor, equipment and raw materials needed to cover production demand. Aid and share in accountability in production line readiness including setup and planning.

  • Serve as SME to address production issues when they arise, striving for minimum disruption. Own and report overall production performance.

  • Drive efficiency by applying data driven operational analytics. Optimally connect with all types of staff, including technical, professional, and upper management.

Qualifications:

Education / Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent minimally required.

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.

  • 3+ years of experience working in manufacturing, and/or supply chain management in a GMP environment.

  • Knowledge of business processes supporting manufacturing operations, filling operations, warehouse operations and inventory controls, and lean methodology,

  • Robust understanding of quality and cGMP principles, as well as the roles of cross-functional groups in a manufacturing setting.

  • Working knowledge of change control and quality management systems.

  • Proficient skills in Microsoft Office, with particular strength in Excel.

  • SAP experience preferred

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

Equivalency:

Equivalent combinations of education, training, and work experience may be considered.

Competencies: 

Good understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices guidelines, Standard Operating Procedures and safety standards. Ability to work cross-functionally with other departments. Proficiency in operating autonomously and in a team setting with minimal direction.

Physical Requirements:

Position requires ordinary ambulatory skills and physical coordination sufficient to move about office locations; arm, hand and finger dexterity, including ability to type for lengthy periods; visual acuity to use a keyboard, computer monitor, and read materials for lengthy periods.

Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check, which includes a drug screening.
