JOB SUMMARY:

As Director of Project Execution at Vertiv, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our customer engagement and ensuring the successful execution of projects and programs for a portfolio of accounts. 

This dynamic and customer-facing position demands exceptional leadership, communication, team building, organizational and presentation skills, as well as an overall understanding of our products and services. You will have responsibility for leading and directing the project execution teams for assigned accounts. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact by overseeing various aspects of project execution from equipment startup through product end of life and will lead efforts to enhance the customer experience by providing superior customer service. 

This role will also provide weekly/monthly reporting on account execution performance and key performance indicators to ensure we are meeting organizational goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead the strategic execution of initiatives across multiple client accounts, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and values. 
  • Oversee all post-sales service and support activities, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction and timely resolution of issues. 
  • Monitor and report on assigned account financial performance, ensuring financial targets are met and implementing corrective actions as necessary. 
  • Hold customer facing project management teams accountable for end-to-end execution in the order to cash process, support project management teams and enforce accountability cross functionally across all areas of business.
  • Define and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess process efficiency, team performance, and drive continuous improvement. 
  • Create clear, accurate reporting to track progress against team and organizational goals. 
  • Collaborate with and influence cross-functional teams to drive effective execution and deliver results. 
  • Foster a high-performance team culture, inspiring and guiding teams to exceed expectations. 
  • Anticipate and resolve challenges proactively, minimizing the need for executive intervention.
  • Continuously identify and pursue opportunities to enhance the client experience and maximize value from our solutions. 
  • Develop high-quality presentation materials for customer business reviews and other critical meetings. 
  • Provide coaching, training, and development opportunities to support team growth and capability building. 
  • Support additional initiatives and perform other duties as required.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, operations, general management or a related field 
  • 10 years’ experience in the manufacturing and/or construction field, in a customer-facing role. 
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • Prior experience directly managing and developing others.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.  
  • Experience in developing and improving work processes
  • Strategic thinking and strong problem-solving abilities. 
  • Excellent financial acumen. 
  • Exceptional presentation abilities (creating material and presenting) 
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. 
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Prior experience in Data Center industry and knowledge of Power and Thermal products. 
  • MBA or other advanced degree and/or professional certification.

TRAVEL EXPECTATIONS: 0-25%
