Job Summary
Responsible for operationalizing strategic initiatives across the System. Responsible for planning, organizing, and directing designated strategic activities.Essential Functions

Develops project overviews and monitors project schedules.
Provides status updates, which may include project progress, potential issues, obstacles, conflicts, or challenges.
Executes the detail of assigned strategic projects.
Maintains quality standards throughout the life of the project.
Identifies barriers to project success; negotiates with major stakeholders to keep project on track.
Accounts for compliance with quality and financial metrics.
Supports the service line governance and work group meetings.
Tracks project metrics regarding performance of projects.
Tracks quantitative metrics to ensure that projects meet defined operational metrics.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Supervisory/Management Responsibility
This is a non-management job that will report to a supervisor, manager, director, or executive.
Minimum Requirements
Education - Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration or related field of study.
Experience - Three (3) years of relevant experience. Experience with project management in a healthcare setting preferred

In lieu of education and experience noted above, an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be considered.
Required Certifications, Registrations, Licenses
Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute strongly preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Ability to function as a change agent, using skills and expertise to inspire a sense of shared purpose within the project teams.
Ability to shift between a global perspective and precise detail
Ability to manage multiple projects, large in scale, from initial evaluation to project completion.
Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
Proficient in database management preferred.
Microsoft Project knowledge preferred
