 This role is responsible for the repair and maintenance of robot systems for Schwalm milling and renovation work in the sewer. Schwalm provides high-quality robotics and system components for sewer rehabilitation.

 

Responsibilities

  • Repair and test robotic parts and systems
  • Troubleshoot and report issues
  • Maintain and document information
  • Maintenance of robots used for trade shows and demos
  • Work from checklists, service requests, and instructions
  • Inspection and receipt of incoming goods
  • Update and maintain a range of records and documentation on warranties
  • Exhibit a proactive, active, and curious approach to tasks
  • Take responsibility for, and deliver optimal solutions for internal and external customers
  • Minimize downtime for our customers through fast and accurate service

 

Skills and Specifications

  • Capable of following instructions and on-the-job training.
  • Computer literate and able to work with Microsoft Office
  • Mathematical calculations
  • Able to read and understand schematic diagrams.
  • Ability to operate a variety of simple and complex tools.

 

Education and Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience working in a robot repair room.
  • Vocational robotic or electrical engineering certification a plus.

 

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: this is a full-time, non-exempt position. Days and hours of work are typically Monday through Friday but could include shift work, weekends, evenings, holidays - flexibility is required as job duties demand.
