Job Title: Maintenance Manager II
Location: Greenville, NC
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: 40 hours/week
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager II to lead branch maintenance operations and ensure company vehicles and equipment are safe, reliable, and compliant with all regulatory and company standards. This hands-on leadership role works closely with Operations to support efficient daily service.
Responsibilities
Supervise and lead all maintenance staff and shop operations
Schedule and manage preventive maintenance and repairs
Ensure DOT, safety, and compliance standards are met
Maintain accurate inspection, maintenance, and safety records
Coordinate equipment availability with Operations leadership
Conduct safety meetings and enforce safety policies
Manage parts inventory, fuel usage, and maintenance expenses
Oversee shop cleanliness, appearance, and facility upkeep
Recruit, train, evaluate, and discipline maintenance staff
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED
DOT certification for air brake and annual vehicle inspections
Valid CDL or ability to obtain within 6 months
Prior supervisory experience in maintenance or shop environment preferred
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and 100 lbs occasionally
Ability to work in a shop environment with exposure to weather and noise
