Overview
A lovely family of five is seeking a full-time Monday-Thursday career nanny for their sons, ages 5, 2, and 2. The schedule for this role will be Monday through Thursday, 6:30am-7:00pm. This position can be live-in or live-out- the family will provided separate housing for the right person. This role involves working on a team with parents and another full-time nanny. They are seeking a true professional who is educated, knowledgeable about childhood development, and who is able to provide leadership and guidance.
Responsibilities
- Creating a fun and engaging environment in the home that considers different developmental stages
- Managing the morning routine
- Driving the children to and from school, and to extracurriculars
- Proactively planning and scheduling activities, playdates, and classes
- Facilitating and supervising meal, hygiene, and bedtime routines
- Assisting with homework as the children get older
- Child-related meal preparation
- Child related laundry
- Maintaining organization within the children's belongings and spaces
- Willing to travel occasionally (the other nanny enjoys traveling, so this will not be frequent)
Qualifications
- Loving, warm, and engaging with children
- Friendly, with a positive attitude
- Able to act as a team with parents and other caregivers, while also proactive and able to provide full charge care as needed
- Provide structure and boundaries
- Happy to work with a co-nanny, communicating as needed to provide continuity of care
- Safety conscious
Requirements
- US work authorization
- Experience with multiple children of varied ages
- Driver's license and clean driving record (the family will provide a car for work use)
- Strong swimmer with the ability to supervise children in the pool and ocean
Salary and Benefits
- $40-50/hr.+ DOE
