Responsibilities include commercial maintenance work, minor plumbing and electrical tasks, and various handyman duties at different sites in Connecticut and Massachusetts.
Physical requirements include the ability to lift over 20 pounds and perform tasks that involve bending, stretching, and climbing stairs or ladders.

About the Role:

Elite Building Services is looking to hire a full-time Maintenance Technician in the state of Maryland (5) days per week, Monday thru Friday, 7:30am to 4:00pm. Candidate must possess organizational skills, attention to detail and a strong work ethic.

NOTE: Some evening and weekend work may be required for emergency work.

The Maintenance Tech position will require traveling to various sites that Elite manages in the surrounding areas of Connecticut and Massachusetts.

Compensation: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour based on experience

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Commercial Maintenance Work
Changing Door Locks
Replacing Light Bulbs
Changing Ballasts
Minor Plumbing Work
Minor Electrical Work
Unclogging Toilets
Hanging Numerous Items on Walls
Minor Sheetrock Repair
Patching & Painting
Assembling office furniture
Various handyman work

Note: Company vehicle, gas card, tools & materials will be provided during work hours.

Role Requirements:

1 Year maintenance/handyman experience
Valid Driver’s License
Must be authorized to work in the United States
Must have reliable transportation

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift 20+ pounds regularly every day
Bend, stretch, stand, twist, reach, walk & sit for extended periods of time
Climb stairs and ladders
