Job Description

As a Security Officer Residential Patrol in Cherry Hills Village, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a residential community, you will conduct routine vehicle patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support residents and visitors with exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential common areas, parking areas, building exteriors, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, vehicle, and resident activity in accordance with community policies.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate contacts and emergency services as needed.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, observations, incidents, and unusual activity in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least two years of security-related experience are required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable use of a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
