Education: High School Diploma or GED
Experience: Food preparation and cafeteria experience preferred.
Licenses: Valid SC driver's license
General Requirements: Some dietary knowledge (food and nutrition) required.
Physical Requirements: Exposure to heat. Ability to reach stored food for preparation.
POSITION SUMMARY & PURPOSE:
| Prepares food and performs a variety of cafeteria duties. |

| 路 Performs food preparation. 路 Performs cooking. 路 Assures all equipment and surroundings are sanitary. 路 Uses equipment and appliances and reports any problems to supervisor. 路 Helps individuals that are assigned to kitchen duty to perform their assigned tasks. 路 Acts in the absence of the Cafeteria Supervisor. 路 Attends initial Burton Center staff orientation, in-services and workshops as appropriate to enhance job performance. 路 Follows diets and menus as prescribed by dietitian, insuring proper serving portion size. |
