Our White Pines Landfill located in Millville, PA is currently searching for a Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team!  ***Please note the following disabilities or medical conditions preclude you from being able to perform safely in this role. If you have any of the following conditions or disabilities, we encourage you to reach out to the Human Resources Department to determine if this role is a fit for you.  •    Seizure disorder(s) •    Certain Sleep Disorders, such as Narcolepsy Contact the Human Resources Department if you wish to request an accommodation or further discuss the above restrictions or further discuss the above restrictions.*** What You Will Do: Safely operate the facility’s heavy equipment Enforce safety procedures on the tipping floor Assist with Direct Drop Off procedures and customers as needed Maintain landscaping onsite including, but not limited to, mowing, weed-whacking, mulching  Assist with onsite operations as needed when instructed by supervisor Keep the onsite roads/surrounding area litter free Other duties as assigned. QualificationsYou Have/You Are: At least 18 years of age A valid Driver's License At least 2 years of experience operating heavy equipment A comfort level working in all-weather outdoors and ability to work indoors The ability to work every other Saturday (required) and overtime Ability to read, write and speak English fluently Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Must be organized and motivated to succeed with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
