Responsibilities

FT Days Registered Nurse (RN) Opportunity – OTP Outpatient Program 

  

This full-time opportunity offers 32 to 36 hours per week, full benefits, and a 5 day/week schedule providing care on our OTP outpatient program.  There is an opportunity for overtime and to cover various shifts if interested. 

  

New Vista South Outpatient Recovery Center is our outpatient treatment facility that focuses specifically on drug addiction issues. Our opioid recovery center fosters a culture of healing and community in which individuals feel empowered to seek a new life of sobriety and mental wellness. The Outpatient Opioid Treatment Program uses evidence-based approaches to teach effective coping skills that will help patients lead a drug-free lifestyle and minimize the chances of relapse. .Admission to the outpatient drug and alcohol addiction treatment program is based on presenting symptoms, willingness to follow program requirements and an apparent need for treatment. After an assessment, all patients receive an individualized treatment plan that meets their specific needs. Your treatment should match your needs, and we assess and decide the best treatment for you.

 

Summary: 

 

Opioid Treatment Program (OTP) RNs are primarily responsible for dispensing medication to patients in this outpatient clinic. The OTP provides medication-assisted treatment for individuals diagnosed with Opioid Use Disorder. Nursing staff work as part of an interdisciplinary team including physicians and credentialed therapists.

Qualifications

 

Requirements: 

 

  • Current license to practice nursing in IN (or eligible to receive or renew). 
  • Current CPR or BLS certification.
