As a Machinist Level 3 here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in operating and maintaining machining equipment to produce high-quality parts and components that meet precise specifications. You will apply your advanced machining skills to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and safety in the manufacturing process.
You will report directly to our Machine Shop Manager and you’ll work out of our Greer, SC location on an On-site work schedule. (2nd Shift M - Thu)
In this role, you will impact the overall productivity and quality of our machining operations, contributing to the success of our manufacturing goals and customer satisfaction.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operate and set up complex machining equipment including CNC machines to produce precision parts according to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machines to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy, making adjustments as necessary to meet strict quality standards.
- Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve manufacturing issues and improve processes.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
