Stair Installation Technician & Delivery Specialist

Location: Greer, SC Schedule: Monday–Friday, with overtime and additional hours based on workload Compensation: $22.00–$25.00 per hour, depending on experience

Southern Staircase, an Edge Building Solutions company, is hiring a Construction Delivery & Stair Installation Technician to support our growing installation team.

This opportunity is ideal for someone with a background in framing, carpentry, or woodworking who enjoys working on active construction sites. While deliveries are part of the position, your primary focus will be installing custom stair systems with precision and quality.

Daily Responsibilities

As part of our field installation team, you will:

• Install custom straight and curved stair systems at residential and commercial construction sites
• Interpret blueprints, layouts, and installation instructions
• Measure, trim, level, shim, and secure stair components using hand and power tools
• Transport materials to job sites using a 26-foot box truck
• Load and unload stair components weighing up to 75 pounds
• Assist with warehouse responsibilities when needed
• Help maintain organized, safe, and professional job sites

Qualifications

Successful candidates will have:

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in framing, carpentry, woodworking, or a related construction trade (Required)
• Experience using common carpentry equipment such as saws, drills, levels, and measuring tools
• The ability to work outdoors in varying job site conditions
• Ability to frequently lift materials weighing up to 75 pounds
• A valid driver's license and a satisfactory motor vehicle record
• A DOT Medical Card or the ability to obtain one
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Dependability, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality workmanship
