As a Machinist Level 2 here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for operating and setting up machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments. You will work with blueprints, sketches, or computer-generated specifications to ensure the highest quality and accuracy in machining operations.

You will report directly to our Machine Shop Manager and you’ll work out of our Greer, SC location on an On-site work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the efficiency and quality of our manufacturing processes by producing components that meet stringent specifications, supporting production goals, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Set up and operate various machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders to manufacture precision parts.
  • Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine machining operations and sequence.
  • Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality, making adjustments as necessary to meet specifications.
  • Maintain equipment and perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal machine performance.
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
